Our Story
Like many visitors, we came to Hawaiʻi as tourists.
But after several visits — including a memorable ten-week stay during parental leave — we realized that Hawaiʻi had become much more than a vacation destination for us.
The islands inspired us with their natural beauty, strong sense of community and unique lifestyle. Eventually, we decided to invest in a beachfront condominium on Oʻahu’s Windward Side and become part of the local community in our own way.
Today, we combine our personal experiences as travelers, property owners and parents to help others discover Hawaiʻi beyond the resorts.
Alohacation was founded to share practical insights, honest experiences and local knowledge for people considering longer stays, family adventures or their own Hawaiʻi journey.
